BUSTED: Enugu State Police Arrest Fake Naval Officer While Trying To Sell Stolen Vehicle

A fake Naval Officer has been arrested in Enugu State as he was about to sell a stolen vehicle.

Police in Enugu State has arrested one Chukwuneke Onah who has been parading himself as a Naval Officer, reports Total Media Koncepts.

It was gathered that Onah was nabbed by operatives attached to the Udenu Division of the State Command who were on a routine patrol in the area.

He was nabbed by the security operatives during their routine patrol based on intelligence gathered, that a certain man wanted to sell a vehicle believed to have been unlawfully acquired and his movements were monitored till he was arrested at the point of exchange.

The suspect, dressed in a Naval rating uniform, was already negotiating with a buyer in respect of the Hilux vehicle which he initially claimed he bought through customs auction before operatives closed him up.

On the spot conducted on him revealed that he was not a naval officer and also never bought any vehicle from customs auction. Source: Pulse Ng
