Men of the underworld invaded about 5 banks at Agbara Estate, Ogun State yesterday, November 19, 2015 all dressed in military camouflage.
Report has it that the invasion occurred shortly after opening of business around 8:30am – it was alleged that the band of robbers got there earlier laying in wait for the banks to open.
Random shooting occurred that left several people dead and others injured.
The robbers were also alleged to have blown up ATM machines with dynamite and carted some cash away, shot at a pregnant woman and the policemen attached to an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) at the main entrance and even killed a pregnant woman. The policemen allegedly fled on foot when they were overpowered by the exchange of gun fire.
