The first Cruise Ship to sail to Cuba from the United States in 50 years, docked in Havana (Cuba) today.
Fathom’s 704-passenger Adonia luxury ship operated by Carnival left Port Miami on Sunday @ 3:30pm with about 700 passengers on board on a 7 day cruise which will also be docking at Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.
The ship is scheduled to operate a bi-weekly cruises to Cuba going forward and will cost about $1,800 per person.
The Cuban Government had approval plans by Carnival Corp., Fathom’s parent company, to begin sailing to the island nation out of Miami in March 2016. ~ NTBWFab
