According to the the Portharcourt (River State – Nigeria) division of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), three members of a notorious armed robbery gang, that has been terrorizing residents of Portharcourt are now in police custody.
The NPF publicized their arrest via Twitter on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Report has it that three of the gang members were apprehended when the police stormed their hideout along Ada George Road.
In their Facebook post, the Portharcourt division of the NPF revealed that the arrest was made after a heated gun exchange. The three members arrested have been identified as Goodluck Worwu, Charles Wogu and Atochi Ezizie. They were arrested with their arms and ammunition that included two AK 47 rifles, one K2 rifle, five magazines, 135 rounds of 7.62 live ammunition and assorted charms.
